Leimonos Monastery

For renovations and equipment. The Leimonos Monastery was established in 1526.Besides the main church, the monastery operates a small folklore/historical museum, a unit that produces olive oil, a library open to the public (with a particular emphasis on children), a service that provides food to the poor, and a home for the elderly (the only one in the region) that provides room and board to 23 people.
