Project support in the Canary Islands
For support of the Clown Doctors project in its initial phase in the Canary Islands. This project encompasses recruiting and training new Clown Doctors to make weekly visits to hospitals in the Canary Islands.

The Theodora Foundation was created in 1993 in Switzerland with the goal of relieving the suffering of hospitalized children through weekly visits of professional artists, the “Clown Doctors.” Since its creation, the Clown Doctors has developed its program in nine countries.  It maintains a network of 130 Clown Doctors trained by Theodora who work in 94 hospitals every week and provide 220,000 personalized visits each year to hospitalized children and their families.
