This grant will double donations made through the DonorsChoose platform to help teachers in schools where three-quarters of students receive free or reduced-price lunch obtain essential supplies.
DonorsChoose is an online platform that engages individual citizens to address educational inequity directly. Public school teachers across the United States post about the specific resources that they need for their classrooms, and individual donors are able to support these projects directly.
This grant is part of SNF’s Global Relief Initiative aiming to help alleviate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
