Paul Franz leads SNF's digital and visual projects to elevate the stories of its worldwide grants. He merges his expertise in journalism and storytelling with technical acumen that spans multiple disciplines which include video production, motion design, data visualization, GIS, and web development. Prior to joining the foundation, Paul was the creative and technical lead with the iDeas Lab at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, DC. There, he held the inaugural Andreas C. Dracopoulos Chair in Creativity and Innovation. Other career touchstones include a journalism fellowship with the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting and TIME.
