Farm Africa

Program support
For a food security and livelihood improvement project in the Eastern Equatoria State, in Southern Sudan. The project will include the creation of affordable animal healthcare services at the community level, and will support the management of natural resources such as pasture land, water, fragile areas and forests. New crops and improved irrigation processes will be used and disseminated, and water-collection points will be restored. The communities will also be trained and supported to develop income-generating activities.

Farm Africa’s goal is to reduce poverty by enabling marginal farmers to make sustainable improvements to their lives through more effective management of their natural resources.
