Expansion of the NSPCC Helplines Development Program
For the Child’s Voice Appeal the objective of which is to expand and maintain key support services, including the ChildLine (for children in distress), the NSPCC Helpline (for adults concerned about the well-being of a child) and ChildLine.org.uk (for online support). The grant covers recruiting and training volunteer counselors to address the issues raised by callers to the hotlines.

The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) specializes in child protection. The organization provides community-based projects throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland, operates a toll-free 24-hour child protection helpline, conducts major publicity campaigns to raise awareness, and lobbies the government in support of child protection issues.
