For research projects at the Institute for Pediatric Neuroscience, including the projects High Throughput Neuroimaging of Pediatric Neuropsychiatric Disorders and Optical Imaging of Pediatric Neuropsychiatric Disorders, both designed to increase scientific understanding of neurological activities in children and adolescents in order to better understand, classify and treat neurological disorders.
The New York University Child Study Center (NYU CSC) is a multi-specialty program housed at the New York University School of Medicine. Established in 1997, the Child Study Center offers child and adolescent psychiatric care integrated with research and education. Committed to clinical care, advanced training for practitioners, research, and educational outreach and prevention, the Child Study Center is unique in its full-spectrum approach to child and adolescent mental health. The Child Study Center coordinates a full range of clinical programs and is one of a select group of federally-funded sites to offer free clinical trials for children and adolescents with psychiatric disorders.
