For the READY program, through which trained ReServists partner with over-burdened college counselors in high-need urban high schools to coach students and their families through the college application process.

Established in 2005, ReServe partners with nonprofit organizations, public institutions, and government agencies and matches them with retired and semi-retired professionals who have a lifetime of skills to contribute and a desire to engage with their community in a meaningful way. These professionals, called ReServists, serve in various roles on a part-time basis, helping organizations build capacity and have greater social impact in a cost-effective way.
