BronxWorks

Program support

For the Medical Services Project, to strengthen and expand the health care services BronxWorks provides for the adult homeless population, children, and elderly that it serves.

Established in 1972 as the Citizens Advice Bureau, BronxWorks serves Bronx residents of all ages, including immigrants, homeless individuals and families, people impacted by HIV/AIDS, and adults making the transition from welfare to work. Services range from employment assistance and eviction prevention to academic help for children and mental health promotion for seniors. The organization’s work has been central in the efforts to revitalize the South Bronx.
