School of Special Professional Education and Training of Saint Dimitrios

The grant supports procurement of equipment for the school’s new cooking - catering training workshop. The “Agios Dimitrios” School of Special Professional Education and Training of Agios Dimitrios and Kallithea was established in 2001. It offers some of the most innovative professional training programs and services for teenagers suffering from mild to severe mental retardation, in several fields such as ceramics, hairdressing, cooking, gardening, and carpentry. Students also enrol in general education classes. Workshops take place after school and are open to both current students and recent graduates who remain unemployed.
