Christodoulio Girls' Orphanage

The grant supports renovation works to the premises and specifically the entrance to the building and all of the external aluminum frames. The works will greatly improve the safety of the orphanage’s children, and will make the building more energy efficient. The Christodoulio Orphanage was established in 1943 and currently hosts 34 girls, ages 4-23. While at the Orphanage, the girls attend nearby schools, and the Orphanage provides support until they complete their studies and obtain a job. The Orphanage also offers classes in foreign languages, computers, music, traditional and modern dance and housekeeping. It also provides psychological support and speech therapy on a need basis
