The grant supports the purchase of a specialized cardiac imaging system. The hospital was founded in 1842, and is the oldest municipal hospital in Athens. It covers all major medical sectors and has a dedicated Cardiology Department which receives more than 900 patients per year. The hospital mainly covers the area of Attica but also treats patients from all over the country.
